الملخص
تهدف الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على القوالب الـنمطية السلبية التي تبناها وطرحها الكُتاب الاغريق اتجاه الفينيقيين والقرطاجيين خلال الفترة الكلاسيكية والهلنستية، ولغاية سقوط العالم الاغريقي تحت الهيمنة الرومانية، والتي أفضت إلى سقوطهم في فخ الأحكام المسبقة/ التحامل، التحيز، التمييز والاستعلاء العرقي اتجاههم. لقد حررت تلك الكتابات في سياقات متباينة ولأهداف قومية ودعائية، وأدت للترويج لأوصاف مشينة التصقت بالفينيقيين والقرطاجيين وشوهت سمعتهم في أعين الآخرين عبر التاريخ. تبعا لذلك، تسعى هذه الورقة البحثية لعرض هذه القوالب وفهم خلفيات وسياقات وأهداف الأوصاف السلبية والعدائية التي أوردها الاغريق حول الفينيقيين والقرطاجيين، وهذا ما يسمح بتقدير أعمق للمصادر الاغريقية التي يعتمد عليها الباحثون في معرفة التاريخ الفينيقي والقرطاجي. The study aims to shed light on the negative stereotypes adopted and put forward by Greek writers towards the Phoenicians and Carthaginians during the classical and Hellenistic periods, until the fall of the Greek world under Roman domination, which led to their falling into the trap of prejudice, bias, racism, discrimination, and ethnocentrism towards them. These writings were edited in different contexts and for national and propaganda goals and led to the creation of disgraceful descriptions that were stuck to the Phoenicians and the Carthaginians and tarnished their reputation in the eyes of others throughout history. Accordingly, this paper seeks to present these templates and understand the backgrounds, contexts, and objectives of the negative and hostile descriptions that the Greeks gave about the Phoenicians and the Carthaginians, and this allows for a deeper appreciation of the Greek sources that researchers depend on in knowing the Phoenician and Carthaginian history.
