The Role Of Motor Education In Enhancing Communication Skills Among Kindergarten Children (a Comparative Study)

Authors : Mihoubi Mourad .

Abstract

This study delves into the pivotal role of motor education in shaping the communication skills of kindergarten children, within the community of El Oued, Algeria. Employing a comparative methodology, the research juxtaposes two distinct groups: one engaged in motor education activities at the kindergarten level, and the other devoid of such opportunities. Through meticulous assessment using the Communication Skills Scale (Abdel-Ghani, 2013), the study illuminates compelling disparities. Results reveal a marked difference in communication proficiency between the two cohorts. Children engaged in motor education activities exhibit notably higher scores across verbal, non-verbal, and social communication domains, underscoring the transformative impact of structured movement on communication development. This finding underscores the imperative of integrating motor education practices within early childhood curricula, advocating for equitable access to enriching learning environments. As the study concludes, it advocates for the universalization of motor education activities, urging stakeholders to provide conducive conditions for holistic development in all kindergartens. This research not only informs educational policy but also resonates as a clarion call for fostering environments that nurture the multifaceted growth of every child. In doing so, it lays the groundwork for a generation poised to navigate the intricacies of communication with confidence and fluency, enriching the fabric of society with their articulate voices and boundless potential.
