(the Level Of Nomophobia Among A Sample Of University Students. (a Field Study At Ziane Achour University In Djelfa

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to identify the level of Nomophobia among a sample of university students at the University of Djelfa. It seeks to investigate the statistical significance of differences in Nomophobia levels based on gender, academic level (Bachelor’s vs. Master’s), and specialization (Scientific vs. Literary). To achieve these objectives, a descriptive research design is employed. The sample consists of 279 male and female students, selected through purposive sampling. The Nomophobia Scale—adapted into Arabic by Hafiza Al-Barashdi and Said Al-Dhafri (2022) is administered after verifying its psychometric properties. The parametric statistical analysis reveals a high level of Nomophobia among university students. The results indicate no statistically significant differences in Nomophobia levels attributable to gender, academic level, or specialization. الملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى النوموفوبيا لدى عينة من الطلبة الجامعيين بجامعة الجلفة، بالإضافة إلى البحث في الدلالة الاحصائية للفروق في مستوى النوموفوبيا تبعا لمتغير : الجنس، المستوى الدراسي (ليسانس - ماستر)والتخصص(علمي-أدبي) . ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف تمّ الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت العينة من (279) طالب وطالبة تمّ اختيارهم بطريقة قصدية من طلبة الجامعة، وطبق عليهم مقياس النوموفوبيا المعرب من طرف حفيظة البراشدية وسعيد الظفري (2022) بعد التأكد من خصائصة السيكومترية. أسفرت المعالجة الإحصائية البارامترية للبيانات على أن مستوى النوموفوبي الدى الطلبة الجامعيين مرتفع، ولا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى النوموفوبيا تعزى لمتغير الجنس،ولا لمتغير المستوى الدراسي (ليسانس- ماستر)، ولا لمتغير التخصص (أدبي،علمي) لدى الطلبة الجامعيين. الكلمات المفتاحية: النوموفوبيا- الخوف من فقدان الهاتف المحمول -الطالب الجامعي.
