Authors : Ouchenne Amine . Benchabane Lamisse .

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of visual perception in deaf children and whether differences are attributable to two variables (spiral implant, age). To achieve the study's objectives, we relied on the descriptive approach, using the Rey Figure complex visual perception test (Figure de Rey) as a study tool on a sample of 38 deaf children who were intentionally selected and studying at the Deaf Children's School in Constantine. The study concluded that the level of visual perception appears to be average. There are differences in the level of visual perception attributed to the variable of age and spiral implantation . Based on these results, the researchers presented some recommendations and suggestions.
