Enhancing User Experience In University Libraries Through Design Thinking And Artificial Intelligence: A Web Design Proposal For The University Of Badji Mokhtars Library Website

Abstract
University library websites are key gateways to academic resources, yet many focus on institutional structure rather than user needs. This paper proposes redesigning the University of Badji Mokhtar–Annaba library website using Design Thinking supported by Artificial Intelligence. It combines the five stages of Design Thinking with Human-Centered Design principles from ISO 9241-110 to meet international usability standards. The study uses a comparative evaluation of the current site and the proposed prototype based on ISO 9241-110 Dialogue Principles, with simulated performance metrics and WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance.
