Abstract
Article abstract: This paper explores the environmental dimensions of cities and the characteristics of their urban communities, as it also highlights the structural and functional changes in the contemporary family and analyzes the impact of urban factors and their effects on the stability and cohesion of families in modern cities, where it focuses on the magnitude of the social costs associated with weakening family unity and ties, which can be used to address the challenges of urbanization while preserving family values in rapidly developing cities. يستكشف هذا البحث الأبعاد البيئية للمدن وخصائص مجتمعاتها الحضرية، كما يسلط الضوء على التغيرات البنيوية والوظيفية في الأسرة المعاصرة، ويحلل تأثير العوامل الحضرية وآثارها على استقرار وتماسك الأسرة في المدن الحديثة، حيث يركز على حجم التكاليف الاجتماعية المرتبطة بإضعاف وحدة الأسرة وروابطها، والتي يمكن الاستفادة منها لمواجهة تحديات التحضر مع الحفاظ على القيم الأسرية في المدن سريعة التطور.
