تبحث هذه الورقة البحثية، في أهمية الجيوبوليتيك العمراني والحضري، كوسلية لتعزيز الامن واللاستقرار ومواجهات التهديدات الأمنية الناشية داخل وخارج الحدود، وتوجيه الاستثمارات والبنية التحية وسياسات التوطين نحو المناطق المهمشة وقليلة السكان، في هذا الاطار تسعى الجزائر الى تجسيد هذا الاستراتيجية لتقاطعه بين السياسة تنموية وضرورات بناء مدن جديد ومراكز حضرية في الصحراء المتاخمة لحدود خمسة دول هشة، مما يعزز استراتجيتها، في تعزيز السيادة المكانية، وتامين الحدود، تحصيل المعلومة الأمنية، وتخفيف التوترات العرقية الناشئة من منطقة الساحل، مما يعزز قدرتها على إدارة جغرفيتها والتحولات الإقليمية. :his paper underscores the role of urban geopolitics in strengthening security and stability against emerging threats within and beyond national borders. It stresses directing investment, infrastructure, and settlement policies toward marginalized or sparsely populated regions. Algeria applies this approach by linking development strategies to building new cities and expanding urban centers across its vast desert bordering fragile states. These measures reinforce territorial sovereignty, border security, cross-border monitoring, and intelligence capacity. They also help reduce ethnic and regional tensions linked to the Sahel. Overall, this enhances Algeria’s ability to manage its geography in line with shifting regional dynamics
