Abstract

This study aims to investigate the reflections of ethical standards in digital marketing on shaping the brand image of “Yalidine Express,” focusing on a sample of customers in the city of Tébessa. The research problem stems from the rapid digital transformation in Algeria’s service sector, where competitive advantage has become increasingly linked to the extent to which institutions adhere to ethical values within their digital environments. This, in turn, leads to “cumulative perceptions” that contribute to building the institution’s identity in the consumers. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, given its suitability to the nature of the topic. A questionnaire was used as the primary data collection tool, designed وفق the five-point Likert scale to align with the study sample in Tébessa. The research is structured around four main axes, progressing from the conceptual framework of digital ethics and brand image to the analysis of the marketing practices of “Yalidine” and the empirical testing of these dimensions in the field. The findings reveal a positive correlation between adherence to digital ethical standards (credibility, transparency, and privacy) and the improvement of Yalidine’s brand image among customers in Tébessa. Digital credibility, in particular, emerges as a fundamental pillar for building trust and achieving a competitive advantage that goes beyond speed and price. Consequently, ethics represent a crucial symbolic capital in shaping young consumers’ loyalty and ensuring sustainable institutional excellence in the local market
