Environmental Economics: Bridging The Gap Between Environmental Policy And Sustainable Economic Development Goals

Abstract
Through this study, we tried to identify the role of waste recycling in achieving the goals of sustainable economic development as part of the general environmental policy, as we noticed that spending on environmental protection is steadily increasing at the local and global level, and this spending has a clear impact on production, investment, consumption and the labour market, and environmental policy includes four main areas: Removal of waste and harmful substances. Protection and purification of water and air, noise control, development of environmentally clean technology, and environmental education.
