Self-esteem And Its Relationship To Psychological Adjustment Among Final-year High School Students

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship between self-esteem and psychological adjustment among final-year secondary school students. A questionnaire was used to collect data on both the self-esteem scale and the psychological adjustment scale. The sample consisted ofThe study involved 60 male and female students. To achieve the study's objectives, I followed the descriptive approach. After statistically processing the data, the study reached the following results: - There is a statistically significant correlation at the significance level of (0.05 ≥ α) ,Between self-esteem and psychological adjustment among final-level students at Ben Taher Kaddour High School in Had Sahari, Djelfa Province. - There are no statistically significant differences in self-esteem among final-year secondary school students attributable to the gender variable. - There are no statistically significant differences in self-esteem among final-year secondary school students attributable to the academic specialization variable. - There are no statistically significant differences in psychological adjustment among final-year secondary school students attributable to the gender variable. - There are no statistically significant differences in psychological adjustment among final-year secondary school students attributable to the academic specialization variable.
