Authors : Amer Imane . Chouirfet Abdelkader .

Abstract

This study assesses the implementation of e-administration functions at the Tax Office of Saïda – Algeria, within the context of public sector digital transformation. A descriptive-analytical approach was used, based on a field study conducted in 2025, including questionnaires for employees and semi-structured interviews with officials. Results showed varying levels of implementation: electronic organization scored high, while planning, leadership, and control were at a medium-high level. These findings indicate growing awareness of the benefits of digital transformation, alongside gaps in digital skills and tool effectiveness. The study concludes that e-administration positively supports administrative functions and highlights the need for enhanced training and updated digital systems to improve efficiency and institutional effectiveness.
