Abstract

This study aimed to explore the impact of user-generated digital content (UGC) on the travel decisions of the Algerian public regarding travel to Turkey. A descriptive-analytical approach was employed, and an online questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 124 respondents. The results showed a statistically significant positive impact of digital content on travel decisions, with the model explaining 5.7% of the variance in the dependent variable. The comparative study also revealed significant differences in the level of influence attributable to gender and age, while no significant differences were found attributable to educational level or income. The study recommends that tourism establishments invest in digital reputation management and encourage peer-to-peer experiences to enhance credibility.
