Abstract: This study aims to address the central problem of the significant gap between the high potential of AI and IoT in agriculture and their limited real-world application. It investigates how these technologies can be effectively leveraged for productivity and sustainability, adapting international models to local contexts. The research employed a multiple case study methodology, analyzing leading international experiences alongside secondary data from reports and global statistics to extract common patterns. Key findings indicate that institutional support outweighs mere technical advancement, with no universal solution. Success requires local adaptation, noting a trade-off between efficiency and digital inclusion, and a redefined role for farmers as data-driven system managers. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence; Internet of Things; Smart Agriculture; Precision Agriculture; Agricultural Digital Transformation. Jel Classification Codes: XN2, O33, Q16, Q55, O13.
