The aim of this research is to examine the individual differences between pre-test and post-test assessments, as well as the differences between the experimental and control groups in transitional skills of children. The researchers employed an experimental design with two equivalent groups. The study included a sample of first-grade students, aged 6-7 years, from Yaghmoracen Elementary School. The participants were selected purposively, after excluding 34 students who participated in the pilot survey, resulting in a final sample size of 62 students. They were then randomly assigned into two groups, an experimental group and a control group, with 31 students in each group. The researchers utilized the TGMD (Test of Gross Motor Development) as the assessment tool. The key findings of the study are as follows: -There were significant differences between the pre-test and post-test assessments, favoring the post-test assessments for the experimental group in transitional motor skills of children aged 6-7 years. -There were significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the post-test assessments of transitional motor skills in children aged 6-7 years, except for skills such as swinging, hopping on one foot, standing long jump, and sliding skills for females.
