The Impact Of Digitalisation On Quality Management Challenges: A Field Study In A Sample Of Algerian Industrial Companies

Abstract
Abstract: Digitalisation has become a pivotal element in enhancing production processes and boosting competitiveness. However, this transformation imposes new challenges on quality management, necessitating an examination of its impact on industrial companies. This study aims to identify the effect of digitalisation on the challenges of quality management in a sample of Algerian industrial companies. The study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by collecting data through a questionnaire from 43 industrial companies in western Algeria. The results showed that digitalisation has a positive effect by increasing the challenges faced by quality management in these companies. Consequently, it leads to the development of quality management strategies to adapt to the changing digital environment. Based on these findings, the study recommends that quality management personnel in these companies should keep pace with the ongoing digitalisation by enhancing their skills and updating their working mechanisms to ensure achieving quality standards amidst rapid technological advancements. Keywords: Digitization, Digitqliwqtion, quality management, industrial companies, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling ملخص: أصبح التحول الرقمي عنصرًا محوريًا في تعزيز عمليات الإنتاج وزيادة القدرة التنافسية للشركات الصناعية، إلا أن هذا التحول يفرض تحديات جديدة على إدارة الجودة، مما يستدعي دراسة تأثيره على الشركات الصناعية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد أثر التحول الرقمي على تحديات إدارة الجودة في عينة من الشركات الصناعية الجزائرية، وقد استخدمت الدراسة نمذجة المعادلات الهيكلية (SEM) من خلال جمع البيانات عبر استبيان شمل 43 شركة صناعية في غرب الجزائر، وأظهرت النتائج أن التحول الرقمي له تأثير إيجابي يتمثل في زيادة التحديات التي تواجه إدارة الجودة في هذه الشركات، وهو ما يؤدي إلى تطوير استراتيجيات إدارة الجودة للتكيف مع البيئة الرقمية المتغيرة. بناءً على هذه النتائج، توصي الدراسة بأن يواكب العاملون في إدارة الجودة في هذه الشركات الصناعية عملية التحول الرقمي المستمرة من خلال تعزيز مهاراتهم وتحديث آليات عملهم لضمان تحقيق معايير الجودة في ظل التقدم التكنولوجي المتسارع.
