At the dawn of the fourth industrial revolution, the integration of automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning has revolutionized societal functions, enabling computers to autonomously process and analyze information. Unlike traditional tools, intelligent agents now act independently, with mobility and autonomy, raising questions about their ability to assume obligations and enter into contracts on behalf of users. This study seeks to explore the legal challenges surrounding intelligent agents, with a specific emphasis on their legal status, particularly in light of advancements in their current generation.
