The aim of this study is to measure the impact of fiscal policy on inclusive growth in Algeria during the period 1990–2023. The literature related to the topic was reviewed, and the evolution of the study variables was analyzed. In addition, the ARDL model was employed to estimate the relationship between fiscal policy instruments and per capita national income in US dollars, used as a proxy for inclusive growth. The results showed a weak but significant positive effect of public expenditures, whereby a 1% increase in public expenditures leads to a 0.072% increase in per capita national income in the short run and a 0.46% increase in the long run. This is attributed to the crowding-out effect in the Algerian economy. Additionally, the findings revealed a negative impact of public revenues in the long run only, where a 1% increase results in a 0.346% decrease in per capita national income.
