The term "brain rot" describes the detrimental effects of overusing digital tech on mental well-being. These effects can change how we think, socialize, use language, communicate, and feel emotions. This research looked at the link between brain rot and the difficulties psychiatry faces in dealing with it. It aimed to review existing scientific work to find connections between the brain rot concept and the challenges in addressing it. The study also suggests ways to reduce the effects of brain rot and recommends creating public policies to encourage balanced technology use. Ultimately, it emphasizes the need for more studies to understand brain rot more fully.
