Legal Security Of Water Resources In Algerian Legislation

Abstract
In Algerian legislation, the protection of water resources is a vital issue, given its importance to economic, social, and environmental development, particularly in light of the challenges related to its scarcity and increasing demand. Algerian legislators have paid special attention to this issue through a set of laws and regulations aimed at regulating water use, conserving it, and ensuring its sustainability. Algerian legislation demonstrates a growing awareness of the importance of protecting water resources by adopting an integrated legal system aimed at the rational and sustainable management of this vital resource. However, the effectiveness of these laws remains dependent on their strict implementation, increased public awareness, and improved coordination among the various stakeholders.
