Abstract: Laughter represents a vital intersection between philosophy and literature it is thus more than a mere emotional reaction devoid of meaning. It transcends its conventional functions to become an instrument of thought and analysis. In philosophy, laughter is viewed as a means of deconstructing intellectual traditions and a tool for questioning established certainties, exposing the inherent contradictions within social and moral beliefs, and re-evaluating prevailing values. In literature laughter serves as a vehicle for surpassing the familiar, shedding light on the internal tensions of the human condition and the paradoxes of life. If laughter were to be considered a marginal subject, then philosophy remains indebted to literature for having paved the way toward engaging with the margins and addressing its issues, issues which, through a curious paradox, have become central to philosophical thought. Ultimately, laughter blends with both literature and philosophy as a shared horizon that enables the creation of a form of intellectual dialogue, one that bridges seriousness and playfulness, revealing the hidden depths of human reality and contributing to its reconfiguration.
