Abstract

This article explores the representations of women (grandmother, mother, and daughter) in the formation of family memory as depicted in Saad Najaa's novel, Insafiyat. Grounded in a structural-semiotic approach, the study highlights how family memory transforms into a tapestry of experiences and values, continuously re-produced through daily narratives and inherited rituals. The grandmother emerges as a guardian of collective memory, the mother as a bridge between the past and present, and the daughter as the voice of a new generation striving for identity renewal. The article discusses the impact of social transformations, particularly rural-to-urban migration, on the erosion of certain rituals and the shifting dynamics of family relationships. It also clarifies how absence acts as a catalyst for memory retrieval and identity reconstruction. The study concludes that Insafiyat offers a significant model for understanding the role of women in the re-production of family memory during periods of transformation, underscoring the centrality of family narratives in resisting oblivion and preserving collective identity. يتناول هذا المقال تمثلات المرأة (الجدة، الأم، الابنة) في تشكيل الذاكرة العائلية كما تتجلى في رواية "إنصافيات" لسعد نجاع، مرتكزًا على المنهج البنيوي السميائي. تبرز الدراسة كيف تتحول الذاكرة العائلية إلى نسيج من الخبرات والقيم يُعاد إنتاجه عبر السرد اليومي والطقوس المتوارثة، حيث تظهر الجدة كحارسة للذاكرة الجمعية، والأم كجسر بين الماضي والحاضر، والابنة كصوت الجيل الجديد الساعي لتجديد الهوية. يناقش المقال أثر التحولات الاجتماعية، خاصة الهجرة من الريف إلى المدينة، على تلاشي بعض الطقوس وتغير العلاقات الأسرية، كما يوضح كيف يصبح الغياب محفزًا لاستعادة الذكرى وإعادة بناء الهوية. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن "إنصافيات" تقدم نموذجًا دالًا لدور المرأة في إعادة إنتاج الذاكرة العائلية في زمن التحولات، وتؤكد مركزية السرد العائلي في مقاومة النسيان وصَون الهوية الجماعية.
