الملخص
ملخص: التحضر هو ظاهرة عرفتها البشرية منذ عهد بعيد، و هي متمثلة في انتقال السكان من حياة البداوة القائمة على الظعن والترحال المستمرين، إلى حياة التمدن والاستقرار، وقد عرف المجال الموريتاني هذه الظاهرة منذ عهد بعيد، حيث وجدت حواضر أو مدن متعددة، اندثر بعضها بفعل عاديات الزمن، ولم تبق إلا أطلاله، في حين لا يزال بعضها الآخر يصارع من أجل البقاء رغم الظروف الصعبة التي تحيط بها، وقد قامت الحواضر أو المدن المتبقية بأدوار سياسية واقتصادية مهمة في المجال الموريتاني خلال فترات زمنية مختلفة، بيد أننا في هذه الورقات البحثية سنتجاوزها، حيث سنركز على دورها في المساهمة في تأسيس الثقافة العالمة في البلاد، خلال الفترتين الحديثة والمعاصرة، ففي أي سياق تأسست الحواضر المذكورة؟ و ما هبي الأدوار التي اطلعت بها في تأسيس والمحافظة على الثقافة العالمة؟ وما هي أهم روافد وتيارات تلك الثقافة؟ الكلمات المفتاحية: الحواضرالتاريخية ؛ ولاته؛ تيشيت؛ وادان؛ شنقيط Abstract: Urbanization is a long-standing human phenomenon marked by the transition from a nomadic lifestyle characterized by constant movement to one of settlement and stability. The Mauritanian space has experienced this shift since early times, as evidenced by the emergence of several historical urban centers. While some of these towns have vanished due to the passage of time—leaving behind only remnants—others continue to persist despite challenging conditions. These historical towns played significant political and economic roles across different periods. However, this study focuses primarily on their intellectual contribution, particularly their role in laying the foundations of Mauritania’s scholarly culture during the modern and contemporary periods. The research seeks to answer key questions: In what historical context were these towns founded? What roles did they play in establishing and preserving learned culture? And what were the major sources and intellectual streams that fed into this cultural tradition?
