Algeria stands as a leading nation in ratifying international conventions related to transnational organized crime, demonstrating its genuine commitment and firm determination to contribute to the prevention and suppression of this crime. This commitment is reinforced through cooperation with other nations and international organizations, reflecting Algeria’s proactive stance in the global fight against organized crime. This dedication is further evidenced by the incorporation of these conventions' provisions into its domestic legislation, particularly through the establishment of specialized administrative bodies alongside national security agencies. Accordingly, this study seeks to examine these entities, whether they are tasked with combating activities that facilitate organized crime or are directly specialized in countering various forms of organized crime.
