الملخص
يهدف هذا المقال لتوضيح قيمة وأهمية الوثائق الأرشيفية في كتابة تاريخ الجزائر خلال الفترة الحديثة، خاصة مع ندرة الكتابات المحلية المتعلقة بالتراجم، محاولين الإجابة على بعض التساؤلات فيما يخص علاقة بايات بايلك الغرب بالأسر الشريفة والعلمية. هذه الوثائق الأرشيفية تمكننا من وضع تصور عام عن هذه العلاقات التي كانت ضرورية في ظل الصراع المسيحي الإسلامي في الحوض الغربي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط، وحاجة العثمانيين إلى تعزيز وجودهم بشمال إفريقيا عن طريق تعاونهم مع الأسر النافذة. This article aims to clarify the value and importance of archival documents in writing the history of Algeria during the modern period, especially given the scarcity of local writings related to biographical accounts. It seeks to address some questions concerning the relationship between the Beys of the Western and the noble families. These archival documents enable us to form a comprehensive understanding of these relationships, which were crucial in the context of the Christian-Muslim conflict in the western Mediterranean basin and the Ottomans' need to consolidate their presence in North Africa through collaboration with influential families
