الملخص
تُسلط هذه الدراسة الضوء على موقف نيقولا ميكيافيلي (1469 -1527م) من الدولة العثمانية، بالاستناد إلى مجموعة من مؤلفاته، وعلى رأسها كتاب "الأميـر"، الذي تناول فيه النظم الإدارية والعسكرية العثمانية، مقدمًا نصائح للأمير تدعوه إلى الاقتداء بها. في حين يُلاحظ بأنه عبّر عن للعثمانيين كخطر يستدعي الحذر في مواضِع أخرى، وهو ما يكشف مدّى التناقض في وجهة نظره، كما هو الحال لدّى العديد من المفكرين الأوروبيين في تلك المرحلة. This study sheds light on the position of Nicholas Machiavelli (1469-1527) from the Ottoman state, based on a set of his writings, especially the book "The Prince", in which he dealt with the Ottoman administrative and military systems, providing advice to the Prince inviting him to emulate them. While he notes that he expressed to the Ottomans as a danger that calls for caution in other places, which reveals the extent of the contradiction in his point of view, as is the case with many European thinkers at that stage.
