The Role Of Arab Classical Drama In Spreading Moral And Patriotic Values Among The Public “the Death Of Cleopatra” By Ahmed Shawky Is An Example.

Abstract
Drama holds an important place in people's lives because it is the most direct and shorter way to guide moral values and communicate with the public. Therefore, the research concentrates on examining the dramatic artistic patterns in Ahmed Shawqi's play " The Death of Cleopatra " from an aesthetic and moral perspective. The research also aims to identify national ethics and explain their impact on the public in Arab classical drama, specifically in the play of Cleopatra's death. Additionally, it seeks to answer the following questions: How did the play convey ethical and national values to the public? How does it work for the recipients to in still patriotism among them? How do the values included in the text influence their understanding and behaviour? Is this play still relevant in today's Arab society? The study seeks to analyse Cleopatra's death by integrating multiple academic perspectives, highlighting how the play reflects and shapes beliefs. الملخص تحتل الدراما مكانة مهمة في حياة الشعوب كونها الطريق المباشر والأقصر لتوجيه القيم الأخلاقية والتواصل مع الجمهور، وعليه يركز البحث على استنطاق الأنساق الفنية الدرامية لمسرحية "مصرع كليوباترا" للأديب أحمد شوقي من خلال نظرة أخلاقية جمالية، كما يهدف إلى التعرف على الأخلاق الوطنية و توضيح تأثيرها على الجمهور في الدراما الكلاسيكية العربية بصفة عامة وفي مسرحية مصرع كليوباترا على الخصوص، ومحاولا الإجابة عن الأسئلة التالية: كيف استطاعت المسرحية أن تنقل القيم الأخلاقية والوطنية إلى الجمهور؟ وما هي أهم القيم الوطنية والأخلاقية التي تناولتها؟ وما فاعليتهاعلى المتلقين في بث روح الوطنية بينهم؟ وما هو الأثر الفعلي للنص الدرامي في تشكيل الوعي القيمي والوطني لدى الجمهور؟ وكيفية تأثير القيم المضمنة في النص على إدراكهم وسلوكهم، وهل لا تزال هذه المسرحية تحمل أهمية في مجتمعنا العربي المعاصر؟ و تسعى الدراسة إلى تحليل "مصرع كليوباترا" من خلال دمج وجهات نظر أكاديمية متعددة، وتسليط الضوء على كيفية انعكاس المسرحية للمعتقدات وتشكيلها، ومدى قدرتها في تشكيل الهوية الوطنية .
