Abstract: The aim of the study is to conduct an objective examination of the role of constitutional institutions, particularly the President of the Republic and Parliament, given their oversight and public policy evaluation mechanisms. and answering the following study problem: How did the 2020 constitutional amendment contribute to diversifying the mechanisms of public policy evaluation under the centrality of the President of the Republic? .The study concluded that this amendment, in addition to the political practice of the President of the Republic, has revealed a shift from a personal approach to a participatory institutional approach in evaluating public policy. This has been achieved by enhancing the role of Parliament, civil society, and advisory bodies, which now play an active role in the evaluation process, despite the continued centrality of the President in this process.
