‘’psychological Toughness Among African Immigrants- A Clinical Study Of One Case In Tlemcen, Algeria-’’

Abstract

The current study aimed to determine the level of psychological hardiness among African immigrants in Algeria, where a single case was studied in the psychology unit at the university Hospital of Tlemcen -Algeria, using the clinical approach ,case study,and using the following tools: the clinical interview, the clinical observation, and the psychological hardiness scale by Mohamed Ahmed Mkhaimer, the results of this study finnally concluded that the case studied (the African immigrant), had a moderate level of psychological hardiness. ملخص الدراسة: هدفت الدراسة الحالية الى معرفة مستوى الصلابة النفسية لدى المهاجر الافريقي بالجزائر ، حيث تمت الدراسة على حالة واحدة بوحدة علم النفس بالمستشفى الجامعي لتلمسان وذلك باستعمال المنهج العيادي ودراسة الحالة واستخدام الأدوات التالية: المقابلة العيادية، الملاحظة العيادية، ومقياس الصلابة النفسية لمحمد احمد مخيمر(2002) والمقنن على البيئة الجزائرية من قبل بشير معمرية، حيث توصلت نتائج هذه الدراسة في الأخير ان لدى الحالة المدروسة (المهاجر الافريقي) مستوى متوسط من الصلابة النفسية. La présente étude visait à connaitre le niveau de résistance psychologique des immigrés africains en Algérie – la ville de Tlemcen- comme modèle, ou l’étude a été réalisée sur un cas dans l’unité de psychologie du CHU de Tlemcen, en utilisant l’approche clinique et l’étude de cas et les outils suivants : l’entretien clinique, l’observation clinique et l’échelle de la rusticité psychologique de Mohamed Ahmed Mukheimer (2002), adapté sur le milieu algérien par Bachir Maamaria , à la fin les résultats de cette étude ont révélé que le cas étudié ( l’immigrant africain) avait un niveau moyen de résistance psychologique.
