Obstacles To Implement Iso Standards Within The Sonatrach Group: The Case Of Gp1z And Naftal

Abstract
The aim of this article is to present obstacles of implementing an ISO standard within an Algerian public company. We administered a questionnaire to managers in a complex (GP1Z) and a subsidiary (Naftal) of the Sonatrach group. The results indicate that the main obstacles to standardization are the nature of the standard implemented, the size of the company, the nature of its product, the stability of top management and employee resistance.
