The Effect Of Creatine Intake On Anthropometric Measurements And Muscular Strength Through An 8-week Training Program For Muscle Mass Among Bodybuilding Athletes

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine various changes in body measurements and circumferences resulting from the intake of creatine monohydrate supplement in a group consisting of 6 bodybuilding athletes aged between 18 to 35 years. The participants consumed 5 grams of creatine half an hour before the training session while following an 8-week training program, by conducting pre and post-tests, and the results showed increases in weight and circumferences of the chest, anterior and posterior thigh muscles, and calf, in addition to an increase in muscle strength for the chest, shoulder, back, arm, thigh, and calf muscles, as well as a decrease in fat mass.
