الملخص
The concept of good governance is one of the concepts that are characterized by modernity in the humanitarian and social literature as well as in terms of application, as it was promoted in the post-Cold War period by the United Nations and its associated organizations. The concept was disputed by many international and local parties and specialists, and there is no agreement on a specific definition for it. Good governance is also one of the issues and topics that the United Nations and many specialized agencies have given attention to in terms of adopting the concept, establishing the foundations and defining the frameworks for it, and working to apply it as a system in many countries. However, when applying good governance, experiences and circumstances differ from one country to another. The United Nations cannot apply a single model for all countries, nor can it guarantee its success by merely striving for it.
