The Intersection Between Mental Health And Reproductive Health: Challenges And Solutions For Achieving Holistic Well-being

Abstract
This study sheds light on the overlap between mental disorders and reproductive health, highlighting the key factors contributing to mental health issues related to sexual and reproductive health. The study concludes that the primary risk factors for mental illnesses include gender, sex, as well as the individual's social and economic status. It also reveals significant gaps in healthcare services across different regions and countries, with mental health not being given the utmost importance. Challenges such as a lack of facilities and mental health professionals were also identified. The study emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts from all stakeholders, whether governmental, individual, or community-based, to overcome the mental health crisis and achieve a qualitative leap in mental health for everyone. ملخص سنلقى الضوء على التداخل بين الاضطرابات النفسية والصحة الإنجابية مع إبراز أهم عوامل الرئيسية للإصابة بالاضطرابات النفسية المتعلقة بالصحة الجنسية الإنجابية للفرد، خلصت الدراسة إلى ان عوامل الخطر الرئيسية للإصابة بالأمراض النفسية تتمثل في الجنس والنوع إضافة الى الحالة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية للفرد، كما بينت الدراسة وجود فجوات كبيرة في الخدمات الصحية في مختلف الأقاليم والدول وعدم إعطاء أهمية قصوة للصحة النفسية مع وجود تحديات كنقص المرافق والأخصائيين النفسانيين وغيرها كما خلصت إلى وجوب تضافر الجهود من جميع الأطراف سواء كانت حكومية او فردية مجتمعية لتخطي ازمة الصحة النفسية وتحقيق قفزة نوعية في مجال الصحة النفسية للجميع.
