Developing Vocational Training Curricula Using The Dacum Methodology: Towards Effective Alignment With Labor Market Requirements

Abstract

This research paper examined the possibility of using DACUM methodology to develop vocational training curricula that meet labour market requirements. The analytical descriptive approach and a review of relevant literature showed that the DACUM mechanism-based job description of occupations bridges the gap between vocational training curricula and labour market needs and improves curriculum quality.
