This study aimed to identify the extent to which certain obstacles (personal and professional, organizational and institutional, pedagogical, material, and technical) contribute to achieving quality assurance standards in vocational training institutions. The study was conducted in vocational training institutions in Guelma Province during the 2025/2026 academic year, on a random sample of 133 teachers. A questionnaire consisting of 30 items distributed across four dimensions was used for data collection. The data were analyzed using the arithmetic mean, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results indicated that these obstacles contribute at a moderate level to the implementation of quality assurance standards related to teaching competencies. The study also revealed statistically significant differences in these obstacles attributable to academic qualification, experience, and type of institution.
