الملخص

تبحث أوراق الدراسة في شخصية العلامة الجزائري عيسى بن مسعود الزواوي الفقيه المالكي وقاضي القضاة بمصر وبلاد الشام، الذي نشأ ببلاد زواوة ودرس بحاضرة بجاية وارتحل لتحصيل العلم بين حواضر بلاد المشرق انطلاقا من الإسكندرية ووصولا لدمشق، ومثّل بذلك صورة من صور التواصل العلمي بين بلاد المغرب والمشرق من خلال رحلاته بين الأقطار وإسهاماته في التدريس وتولّيه القضاء، إضافة لإنتاجه العلمي فلقد شرح بعض الكتب والمصنفات المالكية وألّف في المناقب والمناسك والوثائق والتاريخ وله بعض الرسائل، اكتسب مكانة علمية كبيرة بين أقرانه من علماء المشرق والغرب الإسلامي وسطع نجمه نظير جهوده وإسهاماته في خدمة العلم وأهله، فأشاد به الكثير من العلماء ووصفوه بإمام زمانه في المذهب المالكي، لغزارة علمه وسعة اطلاعه وتفننه في مختلف العلوم. This study deals with the figure of the Algerian scholar Issa bin Masoud al-Zawawi, a Maliki jurist and judge of judges in Egypt and the Levant, who grew up in Zawawa, studied in Bejaia, and traveled in seeking knowledge between the cities of Egypt and the Levant, thus representing a form of scientific communication between the countries of the West and the Islamic East through his travels between countries and his contributions in teaching and judging, in addition to his scientific production, He commented on some of the Maliki books and works and wrote on manaqibs, rituals, documents, history, and some letters, He gained a great scientific standing among his peers among the scholars of the East and the Islamic West, and his star shone for his efforts and contributions in the service of science and its people, so many scholars praised him and described him as the imam of his time in the Maliki school, due to his wealth of knowledge, breadth of knowledge, and his specialization in various sciences.
