ملخص: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على رؤى وطروحات وأفكار التيار الإصلاحي في عصر النهضة العربية، وتصوراته وطرق تفاعله مع الحداثة الغربية طيلة القرن التاسع عشر، وذلك من خلال تقديم صورة شاملة لإسهامات رواد الإصلاح أمثال رفاعة رافع الطهطاوي وخير الدين التونسي وجمال الدين الأفغاني وغيرهم، انطلاقا من الظروف التي صاحبت احتكاكهم بالغرب وحضارته، فمحاولة تفسيرهم لأسباب التقدم الأوروبي وازدهاره، وصولا إلى أسس وركائز المشروع الإصلاحي الذي اقترحوه وفقا للنموذج الغربي بما يتوافق مع الشريعة الإسلامية. Abstract: This study aims to shed light on the perspectives, propositions, and ideas of the reformist movement during the Arab Renaissance, as well as its perceptions and modes of interaction with Western modernity throughout the 19th century.It provides a comprehensive overview of the contributions of key reform pioneers such as Rifa'a Rafi al-Tahtawi, Khayr al-Din al-Tunisi, and Jamal al-Din al-Afghani. It begins by examining the circumstances that accompanied their interaction with the West and its civilization, followed by their attempts to interpret the causes of European progress and prosperity. Finally, it explores the foundational principles of the reformist project they proposed, formulated in accordance with the Western model while remaining in conformity with Islamic law.
