Abstract: Eliciting both pleasure and desire, aesthetics has been a topic of interest, with Greek and modern philosophers, inspiring exploration by both Greek and modern philosophers. This article examines aesthetics within Greek culture, focusing on enduring tragic texts that transcend mundane reality to enter the metaphysical sphere. The central questions are : Where does the aesthetic of metaphysical interpretation reside within Greek tragedy, specifically ‘Aeschylus' Agamemnon’? How does imagination surpass reality's limitations, generating distinction and awe? Through a focus on the Greeks, we look at metaphysical interpretation, and the pleasure of thinking that it involves, in the area of the limitations. Beauty can be seen as an open topic to be seen.
