This study aimed to assess the impact of digitalization on the efficiency of Algeria's healthcare sector, focusing on patient data management, information security, and decision-making support. It used a quantitative approach, gathering data through a questionnaire completed by 35 employees from various roles within an Algerian healthcare institution. The results, analyzed with SPSS, showed that digitalization significantly improved the accuracy and speed of patient data management, enhancing care quality. It also strengthened information security by implementing advanced protection systems, reducing the risk of data breaches. Furthermore, digitalization supported decision-making by providing accurate and timely data, enabling better decisions. However, the study highlighted challenges such as insufficient employee training on digital systems and the need for further investment in technological infrastructure. Overall, digitalization was found to have a positive impact on healthcare efficiency, though addressing these challenges is essential for maximizing its benefits
