Abstract
The role of developmental media in achieving sustainable development is significant. Developmental media plays a crucial role in raising awareness, promoting knowledge, and influencing behavior towards sustainable development goals. It serves as a platform to educate and inform individuals, communities, and societies about the importance of sustainable practices, environmental conservation, social progress, and economic growth. Through accurate and unbiased reporting, developmental media can shed light on success stories, share best practices, and foster dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders. By amplifying the voices of marginalized groups and advocating for inclusive development, developmental media contributes to creating a more equitable and sustainable future. This study examines the theoretical premises that are indispensable for understanding the mechanisms of using media to achieve sustainable development goals.
