This study aims to clarify the key principles adopted by Algeria in combating environmental corruption, particularly following the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27), held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on November 27, 2022. In this context, we highlighted the main commitments undertaken by Algeria, both legally and administratively. The study is divided into two parts. In the first part, we addressed the institutional commitments, as well as the economic and technological measures implemented after the 27th Conference of the Parties. This section outlines the government's political orientations in the environmental sector and the economic and technological initiatives undertaken. The second part focuses on Algeria's legislative commitments to combat environmental corruption. It examines the legal frameworks established to counter environmental corruption and highlights the challenges faced in this endeavor, including legal, administrative, and human obstacles. Finally, the study concludes with a summary of the key findings and recommendations derived from our research.
