In the contemporary era, structuralism has emerged as a predominant doctrine, securing a prominent foothold within scientific and academic realms and igniting extensive intellectual and cultural discourses worldwide. It has introduced groundbreaking perspectives on the human condition, language, and societal structures. Claude Lévi-Strauss, an instrumental figure in the propagation and intellectual advancement of structuralism, made significant contributions in two principal areas: firstly, through a rigorous internal critique of structuralism itself, and secondly, by endeavoring to establish a pure structuralist model adept at interpreting scientific, cultural, and social phenomena reliably. This study delves into Lévi-Strauss’s structuralist propensities, accentuating his most recent research contributions and critically scrutinizing the general structuralist perspectives, particularly the insights and results emanating from Lévi-Strauss’s endeavors.
