Reality Of E-payment And It’s Embodied Requirements In Algeria

Abstract

This study aims to show the reality of E-Payment and it’s embodied requirements in Algeria during the period 2019 -2024. This study relies on the analysis of the volume of E-Payment and it’s various embodied requirements in Algeria, This was done by analyzing The number of Gold Card "CIB", E-Payment transactions via Gold Card, Fixed and Mobile Internet Subscription Indicator, FTTH and ATMs. The study concluded that Algeria has implemented several elements related to E-Payment infrastructure to promote financial inclusion. However, E-Payment is still in its early stages, as the available means remain far behind those in counterpart countries.
