Essential Components Of Heritage Tourism In Algeria

الملخص

Cultural heritage contributes to attracting tourists by making tourist destinations appealing and providing significant economic resources for tourism development to the state treasury. Each country's cultural properties enhance the revitalization of local tourism through archaeological sites, music, songs, heritage festivals, and even local costumes and dialects. This leads to the sustainability of heritage tourism through cultural interaction and the exchange of social and cultural values between tourists and their host communities. Various studies indicate that tourists are interested in learning about heritage, such as folklore, handicrafts, and urban architecture. Consequently, the UNESCO World Heritage List significantly influences tourists’ decisions to travel to countries with heritage tourist attractions.
