الملخص

The Committee on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights is an independent expert body responsible for monitoring the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights. State parties must submit an initial report within two years of ratification and periodic reports every five years thereafter. The Committee reviews these reports to assess compliance and progress. It is also authorized to receive individual complaints, investigate serious or systemic violations, and consider inter-state complaints. Through these mechanisms, the Committee ensures accountability and strengthens the protection of economic, social, and cultural rights globally.
