Abstract: Full protection of competition requires not only imposing penalties on the perpetrators of prohibited practices, as the latter has negative effects that cause harm to the concerned parties. The judiciary first intervenes as a second degree in litigation, as it specializes in considering appeals against decisions and orders of the Competition Council, and then intervenes secondly As a first degree in litigation, in order to erase the negative effects of illegal practices by criminalizing, stopping and nullifying the latter, and compensating those affected by them. Hence, the effective role of the judiciary in the field of settling competition-related disputes becomes clear.
