Abstract

Corruption is a complex social, political and economic phenomenon that affects all countries and undermines the rule of law. It undermines democratic institutions, weakens economies and contributes to political instability. This study concludes that promoting control, auditing, and preventive measures is essential to effective treatment and for eliminating this phenomenon
