The Principle Of International Custom And Its Effects On The Application Of International Humanitarian Law

Abstract
International custom is of great importance in international criminal justice, as it is considered one of its principles and is applied in order to find peaceful solutions to international disputes that are committed and result in violations of international principles and laws, especially the four Geneva Conventions of 1949 and their two additional protocols of 1977, and this affects the application of international humanitarian law. We concluded that it is of great importance in achieving the international justice that we all seek, as it positively and negatively affects the implementation of international criminal judicial rulings and the application of international humanitarian .
