The Impact Of Fish Production On Economic Growth In Algeria During The Period (1990-2022)

Abstract
This research seeks to measure the impact of fish production on economic growth in Algeria during the period (1990-2022), using the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model and utilizing the Eviews 12 program, noting that the gross domestic product was adopted as a variable representing economic growth. The results of the research concluded that there is a significant and positive impact of fish production on the gross domestic product in the short term and the long term, where the elasticity value reached 8.79% and 0.99%, respectively. Finally, a set of recommendations were presented that can be relied upon by decision-makers to increase the volume of fish production and economic growth. يسعى هذا البحث الى قياس أثر الانتاج السمكي على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة (1990-2022)، باستخدام نموذج الإنحدار الذاتي للفجوات المتباطئة الموزعة ARDL. وبالاستعانة ببرنامج Eviews 12. مع الاشارة أنه تم اعتماد الناتج المحلي الاجمالي كمتغير ممثل للنمو الاقتصادي. وتوصلت نتائج البحث الى وجود اثر معنوي و طردي للانتاج السمكي على الناتج المحلي الاجمالي في الأجل القصير والأجل الطويل، حيث بلغت قيمة المرونة 8.79% و0.99% على التوالي. وفي الأخير تم تقديم جملة من التوصيات التي يمكن الاعتماد عليها من طرف أصحاب القرار للزيادة في حجم الانتاج السمكي والنمو الاقتصادي.
