المجلة الجزائرية للسياسة والأمن هي مجلة علمية أكاديمية دولية محكّمة، نصف سنوية، تصدر عن مخبر البحث السياسة العامة والأمن الإقليمي للجزائر، بجامعة وهران 2 محمد بن أحمد، وتهدف إلى نشر البحوث العلمية الأصيلة والمبتكرة التي تسهم في تطوير المعرفة في مجالات العلوم السياسية، والعلاقات الدولية، والدراسات الاستراتيجية، والأمن الدولي والإقليمي، والجيوسياسية، والحوكمة، والسياسات العامة.

توفر المجلة منبراً علمياً دولياً للباحثين والأكاديميين والخبراء وصناع السياسات، وتشجع الحوار العلمي الرصين وتبادل الخبرات البحثية، من خلال نشر دراسات تستند إلى مناهج علمية دقيقة وتتناول القضايا السياسية والأمنية والاستراتيجية المعاصرة من منظور تحليلي ومقارن ومتعدد التخصصات.

يركز نطاق المجلة على دراسة التحولات التي يشهدها النظام الدولي، والتفاعلات الإقليمية والدولية، وقضايا الأمن والدفاع، والأمن الإنساني، والأمن السيبراني، والحوكمة الأمنية، وإدارة الأزمات، وتسوية النزاعات، والسياسات العامة، والدبلوماسية، والعلاقات الدولية، بالإضافة إلى الدراسات المتعلقة بالسياسة الداخلية، والمؤسسات الرسمية وغير الرسمية، وصنع القرار، والتحولات الديمقراطية، والتنمية السياسية، وقضايا السيادة والأمن الوطني.

كما تولي المجلة اهتماماً خاصاً بالدراسات المرتبطة بالبيئة الاستراتيجية للجزائر، بما يشمل الفضاءات العربية، والمغاربية، والإفريقية، والأورومتوسطية، ومنطقة الساحل والصحراء، إلى جانب القضايا ذات الأبعاد الجيوسياسية، والجيواقتصادية، والقانونية، والثقافية، والاجتماعية التي تؤثر في الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية على المستويات الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية.

وتلتزم المجلة بتطبيق أعلى معايير الجودة والنزاهة في النشر العلمي، من خلال اعتماد نظام التحكيم العلمي المزدوج المجهول (Double-Blind Peer Review)، والالتزام بأخلاقيات النشر، والشفافية في الإجراءات التحريرية، بما يضمن نشر بحوث أصيلة ذات قيمة علمية وإسهام معرفي حقيقي.

The Algerian Journal of Politics and Security (AJPS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual scholarly journal published by the Public Policy and Regional Security of Algeria Research Laboratory, University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed, Algeria. The journal is dedicated to advancing high-quality, original, and innovative research in the fields of Political Science, International Relations, Strategic Studies, Security Studies, Public Policy, Geopolitics, and Global Governance.

The journal provides an international academic platform for researchers, scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to disseminate rigorous theoretical and empirical research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and informed policy debate. It encourages interdisciplinary and comparative approaches to the analysis of contemporary political, strategic, and security issues at the national, regional, and international levels.

The journal welcomes original research articles addressing a broad range of topics, including international politics, foreign policy, international security, regional security complexes, defence and strategic studies, geopolitics, geoeconomics, diplomacy, conflict analysis and resolution, peace and security, public policy, governance, political institutions, democratic transformation, decision-making processes, and emerging security challenges such as cyber security, hybrid threats, and human security.

Particular emphasis is placed on studies examining Algeria's strategic environment and its interactions within the Arab, Maghreb, African, Euro-Mediterranean, and Sahel regions, as well as on research exploring the political, legal, economic, social, and cultural dimensions of regional and international affairs.
