الملخص

: This study aims to reveal the impact of criminal media on individual behavior by arousing, motivating, and conditioning individuals to engage in criminal behavior on the one hand, and on the other hand to identify university youth’s attitudes toward the role of criminal media and its contribution to the spread of violence and certain related criminal behaviors. In order to achieve these objectives, we relied on the descriptive method and on the questionnaire as the study tool, which was distributed to a sample of (80) university students studying at Badji Mokhtar University – Annaba. We also relied on descriptive statistical methods in data analysis, namely frequencies and percentages. The results of the study showed that criminal media plays a role in spreading violence among young people and among members of society as a whole, and that it also plays a role in arousing, motivating, and conditioning individuals to engage in criminal behavior.
